Last week, I had the pleasure of joining our client Manchester Metropolitan University at the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) Excellence Awards 2018 – a national contest celebrating the very best work in our industry. We were jointly shortlisted in the Best Publication category.
Like the PR Week awards in 2017, it was another chance for Intelligent Conversation to shine on the national stage.
Sadly, we didn’t walk home with a trophy this time – but attending the high-profile event made me reflect on our track record of award wins in the nine years we’ve been in business, and what that says about our talented team.
So, forgive the indulgence but here’s a reminder of our awards highlights from recent years:
2017 CIPR Pride NW Best publication Gold winner
2017 PR Week awards Finalist: best agency outside London
2015 CIPR Pride NW Best community relations Gold winner
2014 CIPR Pride NW Crisis and Issues Management Gold winner. Healthcare campaign Silver winner
2014 AMEC communications effectiveness awards Taking the fluff out of PR measurement simple award Silver winner
2013 CIPR Pride NW Best community relations campaign Gold winner
2012 CIPR Excellence awards national Outstanding small consultancy Winner
That’s a clutch of awards that brought a proud smile to my face and a reflection of a true team effort.
